Primary Function:

A strategic-minded sales professional (HUNTER) with full-cycle sales skills including researching the vertical as well as target accounts. You are a self-starter who can cold-call as well as take ownership of marketing-generated leads. This is a remote position and, given the current limitations on travel and meetings, will rely on outstanding virtual selling skills.

As part of the early growth team, this is an opportunity to define and grow into sales and customer success leadership roles. You will essentially be the CEO of your quota, your accounts, and your customers – you will have the ability to define what will lead to your success in your area.

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Sell client products to mid-size and enterprise accounts.
  • End-to-end sales cycle SKILLSETS AND ownership (RESEARCH -> PROSPECT -> QUALIFY -> PRESENT -> CLOSE -> ON-BOARD -> NURTURE -> UPSELL -> RENEWAL ACCOUNTABILITY)
  • Deliver revenue by nurturing accounts and through value-based product demonstrations
  • Manage pipeline through HubSpot and use tools to close deals
  • Present key selling points, features, and benefits with a focus on the prospect’s needs and expectations (VALUE PROPS FOCUSED AROUND SOLUTIONS-BASED SELLING)
  • Engage executives in targeted prospect accounts: WILLINGNESS TO MAKE UP TO 50 RESEARCHED PROSPECTING CALLS PER WEEK DURING FIRST 6 MONTHS THEN KEEP THE PIPELINE FULL WITH 60 RESEARCHED PROSPECTING CALLS PER MONTH THEREAFTER
  • Accountable for delivering a plan that will lead to hitting your quota

What will make you a great fit:

  • 3+ years as a quota-carrying Account Executive/SDR/ISR in the software industry
  • Process-driven, with outstanding and confident spoken and written communication skills including succinct, crisp emails
  • Previous success in mid-market and enterprise software / Saas
  • Strong discovery skills
  • Experience quantifying and articulating ROI
  • Experience in developing specific industry verticals (transportation/logistics, field services, energy verticals, a plus)
  • Strong capacity to develop relationships quickly over the phone
  • Comfortable with detailed conversations both at a business and a technical level
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
